There is an age requirement in the NFL.

The NFL has a rule that players have to be three years out of high school to go pro. The NBA's rule is that you have to be one year out of high school. So, there's no chance that players leave as early for football as basketball.
I'm not quite sure what the question is, but I hope I answered it.
Yeah...It happens in basketball...players going pro after 1 year, or in some cases, right out of high school...but you see football players play at LEAST 3 years before going to the NFL...There is an NFL age rule...have to be AT LEAST 3 years removed from high school graduation to be in the NFL...
If a basketball player comes out of high school, straight to the pros, it's not as bad, because basketball relies more on talent. As opposed to football, which is a more learned sport. If a football player went from high school to the NFL, he'd get destroyed.
